We offer high quality dance tuition in Wells Town Hall, City of Wells, Somerset BA5 2RB. We provide weekly dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Contemporary Dance and Musical Theatre for children aged 3 - 18 years. We also offer Adult Ballet and Silver Swans classes. We are one of the leading and established dance schools in the South West region and have been running dance classes in Wells for over 20 years.

We are a happy and caring dance school that strives to encourage a love of dance and performing arts. We offer a professional dance training in a fun and nurturing environment. Many of our students start their dance journey in pre school ballet and continue lessons until they are 18 years old and have reached Advanced dance grades. We pride ourselves on the standard of dance technique reached by our students, some of whom have gained places at leading professional dance schools and dance teaching programmes to further their training.

Teachers are highly qualified with Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and Rambert with a wealth of experience teaching pupils of all ages. Pupils develop fitness, flexibility, posture, poise, coordination, musicality, artistry and self confidence.

Students have the opportunity to take dance exams and gain excellent results. We have an 100% pass rate with students gaining high grades. We also organise large dance shows at Wookey Hole Theatre for all our pupils, lots of performance opportunities and competition preparation for talented pupils.

Wells Ballet & Dance School is run by Zoé Burton BA (Hons) Royal Academy of Dance RTS, LRAD, LISTD & Rambert Teaching member and Andrea Taylor BA (Hons) Royal Academy of Dance RTS, ARAD, RAD teacher training mentor and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) teacher.
